Crispy flatbread with caramelized Vidalia onions, goat cheese, figs, prosciutto, arugula microgreens, and honey.
"Sweet figs, salty prosciutto, creamy goat cheese, and honey — a perfect bite every time!" - Alexia
Place the Brooklyn Bred pizza crust on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of cracked black pepper. Bake at 375°F for 5–8 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Slice the Vidalia onions into thin rounds. In a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, add extra virgin olive oil and the onions. Season with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Slowly cook, stirring occasionally, adding small splashes of water as the liquid reduces. Continue until the onions are golden brown and very tender.
Wash and quarter the figs, removing stems and bottoms. Wash and dry the arugula micro greens and set aside.
Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the baked crust. Sprinkle on the goat cheese, then add the figs and Parma prosciutto. Season with cracked black pepper, top with arugula micro greens, and drizzle with honey.
Slice the flatbread and serve warm. Perfect for any occasion — sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious!
