Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 12 oz Raw Pork Breakfast Sausage (casing removed)
  • 4 Celery Stalks, chopped
  • 4 Carrots, chopped
  • 1 Vidalia Onion, chopped
  • 1 Stick Salted Butter (1/2 for sauté, 1/2 for mixing)
  • 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Garlic Salt (to taste)
  • Cracked Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 bag (6 oz) Arnold Herb Seasoned Stuffing
  • 1/2 bag (6 oz) Arnold Seasoned Stuffing
  • 32 oz Chicken Stock
  • 6 Strips Maple-Flavored Bacon

Instructions

Sauté the Aromatics

Add olive oil and half the butter to a large fry pan. Once melted, add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté until translucent and golden. Season with garlic salt and cracked black pepper.

Cook the Sausage

In a separate pan, cook the sausage and break it up into small pieces.

Cook the Ground Beef

Cook the ground beef, chopping it small. Season with garlic salt and cracked black pepper.

Combine Everything

Add the cooked veggies, sausage, and beef into a large mixing bowl.

Add Stuffing & Liquids

Add the stuffing mix, remaining butter, chicken stock, and eggs. Mix until fully combined and the stock is absorbed.

Prep for Baking

Preheat oven to 375°F. Transfer stuffing mixture into a medium baking dish, pressing it down tightly. Top with bacon strips.

Bake Covered

Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Crisp the Bacon

Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until bacon is crispy.

Serve

Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy Mama Mary's famous stuffing!
